Founded by John Rugg IV, 360 Environmental is built on attention to detail, building science knowledge, and a thorough understanding of how moisture and building conditions contribute to indoor environmental concerns.

With more than five years of professional real estate inspection experience and over two and a half years of professional mold experience, John has spent thousands of hours evaluating homes, building systems, moisture conditions, and mold-affected properties. Remediation Protocols

Prepared by a TDLR-licensed Mold Assessment Consultant, it provides the remediation contractor with detailed instructions for safely and properly completing the work.
Post - Remediation Clearance
A post-remediation clearance test is performed after mold remediation to verify that the work was completed according to the protocol and that the affected areas meet the established clearance criteria. The process may include a visual inspection and air or surface sampling. If the area passes, clearance documentation is provided confirming the remediation was successfully completed.

We assess the property, develop the Mold Remediation Protocol when needed, and perform post-remediation clearance services. Keeping the assessment and remediation roles separate allows us to provide an independent evaluation of the property and the completed remediation work.

A post-remediation assessment, commonly referred to as a clearance test, is performed after mold remediation has been completed. The purpose is to determine whether the remediation work was completed in accordance with the Mold Remediation Protocol and whether the established clearance criteria have been met.
The Mold Assessment Consultant evaluates the remediated areas for remaining visible mold and other conditions specified in the protocol. Depending on the project and established clearance criteria, the assessment may also include air or surface sampling. The results are then evaluated to determine whether the project passes or fails clearance.

If the project does not meet the clearance criteria established in the Mold Remediation Protocol, additional cleaning or corrective remediation may be necessary. Once those items have been addressed, another post-remediation assessment can be performed to determine whether the project meets the required clearance criteria.
Texas regulates professional mold assessment and remediation activities through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). A licensed Mold Assessment Consultant has met state requirements for education, training, experience, and examination. Texas rules also generally separate mold assessment from mold remediation on the same project, helping provide property owners with an independent assessment and an unbiased evaluation of the remediation work.
